And this is how it works...
Where can I find this function?
Navigate to ⨠Documents.
Check bookings
Go to the document view and check the ⨠booking icon on the right. If it is present, you can click on it and view the posting details. If not (see example document #706830 below), the receipt has not been booked yet.
❗ NOTE: To learn about the reasons and possible solutions for a receipt that was not booked, read the following article: Why was a receipt not booked?
Check details of a document
Open the document using the 👁eye icon and look at the following fields:
Status: here you can see if the document has been completely extracted (status should be "Done").
Booking type: Usually only documents with the type "Receipt" are visible in the reconciliation
Booking status: Only documents with the status "paid" will be visible in the reconciliation.
Payment type: Whether the payment type is "Vendor Invoice", "Expenses", "Cash", etc., and is set correctly, is also relevant for reconciliation, because it must match the type of transaction to be reconciled.
Example: for bank debits, only vendor invoices, debit card payments, and customer credit memos are displayed in the document list.
❗ Tip: You can check the payment type in the journal:
Look for the booking of the selected receipt in the ⨠journal.
Check the ⨠booking type column of the booking.
If you think one or more of these details are incorrect and the receipt may not show up in the reconciliation list as a result, contact support via chat or email: [email protected]
